Milan Szatmari is a New York–based Hungarian cinematographer and NYU Tisch graduate. He has shot projects in the United States and Europe across independent and higher-budget productions.
Always experimenting with the expressive possibilities of the camera and the visual language, he digs deeply into the core of each story. He loves shooting on 35mm and 16mm film and specializes in narratives, commercials, and music videos.
In 2026, he received the ARRI Volker Bahnemann Award for achievement in cinematography.
